Birdseye Hollow State Forest

Birdseye Hollow State Forest is located in Steuben County, New York, not far from the city of Bath, New York.  It offers hiking, bird-watching, wildlife observation, picnicking, and nature photography.  Hiking trails range from leisure walks to more challenging hikes.

Bristol Mountain Ski Resort

the resort is situated on Bristol Mountain, which is part of the Bristol Hills in western New York approximately 30 miles south of Rochester and about 70 miles east of Buffalo.  The ski resort has 38 slopes and trails, including groomed runs, glades, and terrain parks. The mountain features a vertical drop of around 1,200 feet, making it one of the largest ski areas in the region.

Watkins Glen State Park

The most famous feature of the park is the Gorge Trail, which winds its way through a narrow, steep-walled gorge with breathtaking waterfalls, cascades, and rock formations. The Gorge Trail includes more than 800 stone steps and offers stunning views at every turn.
